"The Fox" - Part 1 (Jordan)

Viral videos have been the absolute "thing" in the 21st century. This came about with the release of a little old website called "youtube". A video is considered viral once it receives a certain amount of views in a certain amount of time.

In this first part of my talk about viral videos, I will discuss the uncanny popularity from an "alternate" song known as "The Fox", by Ylvis.

If you would like to watch the video, here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jofNR_WkoCE

"The Fox" has over 445 million views in the space of just one year. Mixed reviews of the song itself has been release with many people saying the song makes no sense and was made by a group of really talentless but smart "Musicians" who go by the name Ylvis.

The video clip has sub titles placed in it by default because the writer knew that listeners would not be able to understand it. Lines like "
Joff-tchoff-tchoff-tchoffo-tchoffo-tchoff!" shows the ridiculousness of the lyrics.

The wasn't just a viral video on youtube, but also a viral song on the radio. It reached number one in over 20 countries.

This viral video was the talk of the world as no one knew what to think or how to feel with the realise of this video.
