Chocolate Rain Lyrics

Chocolate Rain
Some stay dry and others feel the pain
Chocolate Rain
A baby born will die before the sin

Chocolate Rain
The school books say it can't be here again
Chocolate Rain
The prisons make you wonder where it went

Chocolate Rain
Build a tent and say the world as dry
Chocolate Rain
Zoom the camera out and see the light

Chocolate Rain
Forecast to be falling yesterday
Chocolate Rain
Only in the past is what they say

Chocolate Rain
Raised your neighborhood insurance rates
Chocolate Rain
Makes us happy 'livin in a gay

Chocolate Rain
Made me cross the street the other day
Chocolate Rain
Made you turn your head the other way

(Chorus)

Chocolate Rain
History quickly crashing through your veins
Chocolate Rain
Using you to fall back down again

[Repeat]

Chocolate Rain
Seldom mentioned on the radio
Chocolate Rain
It's the fear your leaders car control

Chocolate Rain
Worse than swearing, worse than calling names
Chocolate Rain
Say it publicly, and you're insane

Chocolate Rain
No one wants to hear about it now
Chocolate Rain
Wish real hard it goes away somehow

Chocolate Rain
Makes the best of friends begin to fight
Chocolate Rain
But did they know each other in the light?

Chocolate Rain
Every February washed away
Chocolate Rain
Stays behind as colors celebrate

Chocolate Rain
The same crime has a higher price to pay
Chocolate Rain
The judge and jury swear it's not in the face

(Chorus)

Chocolate Rain
Dirty secrets of economy
Chocolate Rain
Turns that body into GDP

Chocolate Rain
The bell curve blames the baby's DNA
Chocolate Rain
But test scores are how much the parents made

Chocolate Rain
Flippin' cars in France the other night
Chocolate Rain
Cleans the sewers out beneath Mumbai

Chocolate Rain
'Cross the world and back it's all the same
Chocolate Rain
Angels cry and shake their heads in shame

Chocolate Rain
Lifts the ark of paradise in sin
Chocolate Rain
Which part do you think you're 'livin in?

Chocolate Rain
More than marchin' more than past and law
Chocolate Rain
Remake how we got to where we are

(Chorus)

Trending Fads

"Owling" - The pose in which a person squats like an owl in a populated and uncommon or even dangerous area. Participants commonly make noises similar to an owl, to make the impression more realistic. This became a trend through social media sites such as facebook and tumblr. This particular trend became an issue due to the dangerous locations people chose to pose.

"Horsemaning" - This particular 'meme' or 'fad' involves two people posing so that they appear to be one single body with a detached head. This is a revival of a photography fad which was popular in the 1920's. It is thought that the name comes from the story of the Headless Horseman. This trend also became popular and well known through social networking sites such as instagram and facebook and was acknowledged in the news several times. Unlike other trends such as owling or planking, the horsemaning fad had less accidents as people did not often choose to pose in dangerous spots. People often chose to take their horsemaning pictures in safer areas such as in their homes or at work since it required two people rather than just one.

Trending #YOLO

Yolo is the acronym for You Only Live Once and one of the biggest trends in current years and unfortunately it still appears everywhere. It is deemed an excuse for people to perform inappropriate, dangerous or silly acts whilst ignoring the consequences. However those who use YOLO believe it implies one should enjoy life, even if that entails taking risks. What is not known, is that YOLO has been used for over hundreds of years even in its equivalent form in a 1774 German play.

Yolo has been used all over social networks as statuses, memes, hashtags and pictures. It has been so widespread it is easy to purchase retail merchandise with the acronym Yolo on it, such as hats and t-shirts. Even bigger than this, it was adapted into a song by The Lonely Island featuring Adam Levine and Kendrick Lamar which currently has over 62 million views on YouTube

Let's break it down, when Yolo started becoming popular it was used by nearly everyone to describe extreme events in their life. Currently however it is thought to be an excuse for the reckless behaviour of youth!

So love this post or hate it, I just say #YOLO

Blast from the past! Rebecca Black's Friday is the best example of a viral music video, but for all the wrong reasons!
Rebecca Black uploaded her music video on February 2011 just like any other teenage girl hoping their dreams of becoming a pop star breakthrough. By March 31, 2011 it went viral until Rebecca Black was forced to take down the video by June, 2011. Why?
With 166 million views she became the victim of mass hate! The comments on her video where all horrific with people claiming things such as there ears were bleeding. The dislike bar was at 87% totalling 3.2 million dislikes. On top of all this, Rebecca Black received actual death threats at her house leading to her decision to remove the video. This story reached news stations and articles all around the world!
However it has not been all that bad for Rebecca, she was given the opportunity to attend the Video Music Awards and had a main appearance in Katy Perry's music video T.G.I.F an opportunity many young girls would squeal over. So everyone, I hope tomorrow you all have a great Friday, Friday got to get down on Friday! ;)
Rebecca Black decided to upload the video again, here's the link: http://youtu.be/kfVsfOSbJY0

"The greatest freakout ever"

The viral video we are going to look at today is "The greatest freakout ever"
Here is a link to the video --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YersIyzsOpc

This viral video was uploaded on 2009 by Youtuber "wafflepwn" which featured an older brother recording his little brother's tantrum after his mum disabled his "World of Warcraft" account. This video is considered viral as it has received an outstanding amount of views. Today, the video has almost reached 80 million views. Their channel today still provide the same type of videos with the latest one being uploaded in August.

This video has been debated countless of times on the internet whether if this video is fake or real. Because of that reason, the video would be shared amongst friends and asked them if this video was real or fake. Then those friends will share it to their friends and so on, thus resulting the video gaining more and more views. Especially at that time when the video was uploaded it would have been very convincing that the video is real to people as it would be something that no one has ever seen before on the internet, which again encourages people to share it with friends.

"The Fox" - Part 1 (Jordan)

Viral videos have been the absolute "thing" in the 21st century. This came about with the release of a little old website called "youtube". A video is considered viral once it receives a certain amount of views in a certain amount of time.

In this first part of my talk about viral videos, I will discuss the uncanny popularity from an "alternate" song known as "The Fox", by Ylvis.

If you would like to watch the video, here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jofNR_WkoCE

"The Fox" has over 445 million views in the space of just one year. Mixed reviews of the song itself has been release with many people saying the song makes no sense and was made by a group of really talentless but smart "Musicians" who go by the name Ylvis.

The video clip has sub titles placed in it by default because the writer knew that listeners would not be able to understand it. Lines like "
Joff-tchoff-tchoff-tchoffo-tchoffo-tchoff!" shows the ridiculousness of the lyrics.

The wasn't just a viral video on youtube, but also a viral song on the radio. It reached number one in over 20 countries.

This viral video was the talk of the world as no one knew what to think or how to feel with the realise of this video.
